Sparcs Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how [OPERATOR ENTITY NAME], [a Delaware corporation] (“Sparcs”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the Sparcs website, developer API and related interfaces (the “Interface”). It forms part of our Terms of Use. We are the controller of the personal data described here. The Interface is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

• There are no accounts, passwords, emails or profiles. We do not know who you are.
• Your wallet address and everything you do with it are public on the Arc blockchain, permanently, and not something we control.
• Our servers see your IP address and basic browser details, like every website.
• There are no advertising trackers or third-party analytics on the Interface today.
• We do not sell or rent personal data.

Wallet address and on-chain activity. When you connect a wallet, the Interface reads your public address so it can show your balances, holdings and claimable fees, and so your wallet can sign transactions. Transactions you submit (launches, buys, sells, claims) are recorded on the Arc blockchain together with your address, amounts and timestamps. Blockchain data is public, permanent and outside our control; we cannot edit or delete it. We do not associate wallet addresses with names, emails or other identifiers.

Technical and usage data. Our hosting provider and our own server routes automatically log your IP address, approximate location derived from it (country and, where available, region), browser type, device type, referring page, pages requested, and timestamps. We use the country and region to block access from sanctioned regions and to enforce rate limits, and the rest to keep the Interface secure and working.

Content you supply. If you launch a token, the name, ticker, image, description and links you provide are written to the public blockchain. If you upload an image through the Interface, the image file is stored on our hosting provider’s public file storage and its URL is written to the blockchain. Do not include personal data in Content you would not want to be public forever.

Information stored in your browser. The Interface keeps a small amount of data in your browser’s local storage and cookies: your wallet connection state, your acceptance of the Terms and this Policy for each address, and interface preferences such as slippage. This data stays on your device; you can clear it at any time through your browser.

Correspondence. If you email us, we keep the email and our reply for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up.

Developer API. API requests are logged with the caller’s IP address, the endpoint, and any wallet address or token address included in the request, for rate limiting, abuse prevention and debugging.

• to operate the Interface and show you your own on-chain data;
• to block access from sanctioned regions and enforce our Terms;
• to detect, prevent and investigate abuse, fraud, attacks and security incidents;
• to enforce rate limits and keep the Interface available;
• to respond to your requests, complaints and legal notices;
• to comply with law, regulation, legal process and lawful requests from authorities; and
• to protect our rights, property and safety and those of our users and the public.

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our legal bases are: performance of our Terms with you; our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the Interface and enforcing our Terms; and compliance with legal obligations, including sanctions law.

We share information only as follows:

• Service providers who process data for us: our hosting and file-storage provider (Vercel) and blockchain RPC providers that relay the Interface’s read requests to the Arc network. They act under contract and may use the data only to provide their services.
• Wallet and connection providers you choose to use (for example MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet, or the WalletConnect network) receive information directly from your browser under their own privacy policies; we do not control them.
• Legal and safety. We may disclose information to comply with law, a court order, subpoena or lawful request, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Sparcs, our users or others.
• Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
• Aggregated data that does not identify you (for example total launches or volume) may be shared publicly.

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

The Interface uses only strictly necessary storage: a cookie and local storage used by the wallet library to remember your connection, and local storage for your Terms acceptance and preferences. We do not use advertising cookies. If we ever add privacy-preserving analytics, we will update this Policy first and, where required, ask for consent.

Server and API logs are kept for a limited period (typically no more than 90 days) unless we need them longer to investigate an incident, enforce our Terms or comply with a legal obligation. Correspondence is kept as long as needed for the matter and any legal retention period. Uploaded images are kept as long as the token exists, which on a blockchain is permanent. Data on the blockchain cannot be deleted by anyone.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a supervisory authority (for EEA and UK residents) or, for California residents, to know, delete and correct personal information and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To exercise a right, email privacy@sparcs.fun. Because we do not maintain accounts, we may ask you to prove control of a wallet address by signing a message. Note that we cannot alter or remove anything recorded on the blockchain, including your Content and transactions.

We and our service providers are based in the United States and may process information there or in other countries whose laws differ from yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses for transfers from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including HTTPS everywhere, strict content security policies, and no storage of keys or credentials. No system is perfectly secure, and the safety of your wallet, keys and devices is your responsibility.

Token pages may link to websites and social accounts supplied by token creators. Those sites are not ours and this Policy does not cover them.

We may update this Policy. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change is material, connected wallets will be asked to review and accept it again before continuing.
